Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using the Lume Portfolio application ("App"), you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. These terms constitute a legal agreement between you and Pexelerate ("Company", "we", "us", or "our").

2. Use of Service

Lume Portfolio is provided as-is, and we reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the service at any time without notice. You agree to use the App only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms.

2.1 Reasonable Use Policy

Lume Portfolio includes features for unlimited transactions, accounts, and on-device AI usage. These services are subject to a reasonable use policy designed to prevent abuse and ensure service quality for all users. "Unlimited" features are intended for personal use only, and we reserve the right to limit or suspend access if we detect excessive usage patterns that may negatively impact the system or other users' experience. Examples of unreasonable use include, but are not limited to: automated mass imports unrelated to personal finance, systematic data scraping, or any usage pattern that suggests commercial exploitation of the service.

3. Privacy and Data Collection

Your financial data — transactions, accounts, categories, chat history — is stored on your device and (optionally) in your own iCloud. We do not receive, store, or process this data.

We collect anonymous, aggregated usage data to improve the App. Your email address (if provided for an account or trial) may be used for product communications and updates, but will not be shared with third parties. You have the right to opt in or opt out of these communications at any time through your account settings or by contacting us directly. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

4. Subscription and Billing

Lume Portfolio is offered on an annual subscription basis at $9.99 per year, with a 7-day free trial. Your subscription will automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless canceled. You may cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We do not offer pro-rated refunds for partial periods.

5. Communications

You can opt in to subscribe to Lume Portfolio updates to receive product updates, service announcements, and other communications via email. You can opt out of these communications at any time through the unsubscribe link in the emails. We will never share your contact information with third parties.

6. User Responsibilities

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account information and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account. Because your financial data is stored on your device, you are also responsible for keeping your device and iCloud account secure.

7. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of Lume Portfolio — including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, icons, and software — are the exclusive property of Pexelerate and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

8. No Financial Advice

Lume Portfolio is a personal finance tracking tool. It is not a financial advisor and does not provide financial, tax, legal, or investment advice. Any insights, summaries, or AI-generated suggestions are for informational purposes only. You are solely responsible for any financial decisions you make.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Pexelerate shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenues, or data, whether incurred directly or indirectly.

10. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of any material changes via email or through the App. Your continued use of Lume Portfolio after such modifications constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
